FAQ

Why add a watermark to a PDF?
To mark a document before signing, protect a layout from being used without payment or show that it is a copy. The text is visible on every page when viewing and printing.
Can the watermark be removed later?
It becomes part of the page and can no longer be removed with standard tools. Keep the original separately.
Will a logo with a transparent background work?
Yes, a PNG with transparency looks best: only the mark itself remains without a white rectangle.
Is it free and without registration?
Yes. No accounts, no limits on the number of files and no watermarks on the result. There is one limit: browser memory; on a regular laptop that means files up to 200-300 MB.
Where does my file go?
Nowhere. The page loads a processing module into the browser, and from then on it runs on your device. The file is not sent to a server; nobody sees it or stores it. You can turn off the internet after opening the page and the tool will keep working.
