- How many files can be merged into one PDF?
- The number of files is not limited. In a test, 50 documents with a total size of 350 MB merged in 1 second in Node.js; in the browser it takes a few seconds.
- How do I merge photos into a PDF?
- There is a separate tool for photos, “JPG to PDF”: it combines JPG, PNG and HEIC into one document, one image per page.
- What happens to bookmarks and form fields?
- Pages, text, images and vector graphics are transferred unchanged. Bookmarks and interactive form fields are not preserved in this version.
- Is it free and without registration?
- Yes. No accounts, no limits on the number of files and no watermarks on the result. There is one limit: browser memory; on a regular laptop that means files up to 200-300 MB.
- Where does my file go?
- Nowhere. The page loads a processing module into the browser, and from then on it runs on your device. The file is not sent to a server; nobody sees it or stores it. You can turn off the internet after opening the page and the tool will keep working.
